I am Jon Affonso and I am the Winemaker at Durst Winery. I am pleased to introduce to you our Virtual Wine Tasting Experience. I will be hosting the Virtual Tasting personally and it will be customized for your event. I will discuss the wines in as much or as little detail as the group desires. I can discuss the regional terroir, the vineyards associated with the fruit, the techniques used to make the wines, also my perception of the wines and suggest food pairings if interested. Any or all of the topics can be touched upon. The desired goal is to recreate the tasting room experience as much as possible from anywhere.
You can select the date and the time as we are available most days from noon to 8pm Pacific time. With the time in hand, then the number of people as well as the number of households that will be involved. Next will be the amount of wine you desire to include in the tasting. For reference, four bottles of wine is the most popular tasting. It is enough for five to ten people, depending upon the desired portion per person. If you would like to add more wines to the list, or have more bottles of the same four wines, that can also be arranged. Then you would purchase the wine and we would ship the wine to you, in advance, so that you are ready to go when the time comes.
