We’re honored to share that our 2025 Sirens has been awarded Best of Show at the 2026 International Women’s Wine Competition.

Crafted by our winemaker Christina Lopez, Sirens is a white Rhône blend of equal parts Grenache Gris, Grenache Blanc, and Grenache Noir.

This recognition is especially meaningful from a competition judged solely by women, and we’re proud to see Sirens rise to the top.

Our 2025 Grenache Blanc was just named Best White Wine at the 2026 California State Fair Commercial Wine Competition — America’s oldest wine judging, dating back to 1854. One wine. Every white wine in the state. All eleven growing regions.

This is Christina’s wine. Grown right here on our Mokelumne River estate, from a varietal most California wineries have never heard of. We’ve always believed in it.

In the May/June 2026 issue of Imbibe Magazine, writer Emily Saladino explores the growing momentum behind white Rhône wines and the producers helping bring these remarkable varieties into the spotlight.

The article shares the story of how one unforgettable bottle of white Châteauneuf-du-Pape inspired me to replant our vineyard and devote Acquiesce entirely to white Rhône varietals. At the time, many thought building a winery focused solely on white wines in Lodi was a risky idea.

Fourteen years later, those same varieties—Grenache Blanc, Bourboulenc, Picpoul Blanc, Clairette Blanche, and more—have proven not only beautifully expressive, but exceptionally well suited to our climate. Their freshness, texture, and natural acidity continue to captivate wine lovers and pair effortlessly with food.

I’m honored to see Acquiesce included in this thoughtful feature and proud to be part of what Imbibe calls a “quiet revolution” in wine.
