We are currently looking for a dependable qualified driver with a good attitude, CDL and current medical card required. We are a drug free work place and perform random drug tests. We work mostly in Whatcom, Skagit and Snohomish county and work mostly year round. You must be able to drive in the snow and we would like a minimum of 2 years driving experience but we can work with new drivers. We're looking for a watchman! We have a job coming up on the middlefork (deming) and even though our stuff will be behind a locked gate we just would like to play it safe and have someone there. This would entail someone stay up there at night during the week and on the weekends. We can either pay or be willing to let you take free firewood for personal or to sell. If you are interested please let us know. This would be anywhere between 4 to 8 weeks.

Chaser job description-

1) Directs Choke Setters in high lead, slack line, or similar log yarding system.

2) Determines sequence of logs to be yarded, according to guidelines established by Hook Tender .

3) Issues directions to crew regarding logs to be yarded, positioning securing of chokers and position of crew during movement of logs.

4) Signals Yarding Engineer to control positioning of choker cables for setting yarding of logs over cutting area, using portable radio transmitter.

5) Signals to inform others of fire, injuries, need for repairs or revisions to rigging, and other conditions.

6) Trains new workers in choker setting techniques, safety practices, and whistle signals.

7) May perform choker setting duties.

8) May lead workers in installing, moving, and dismantling yarder rigging..
