Harry Mink is the founder, Principal and owner of Alpha Business Group located in Acton, MA. He is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) who helps people buy, sell and value both Main Street (Values $1M to $10M). Mink founded Alpha Business Group in order to bring the professional standards of high-tech, consultive sales to the business brokerage
field having appraised hundreds and selling over 70 small businesses. Harry has over thirteen years of professional experience in mergers & acquisitions, transition consulting and appraisal of privately held businesses. He did his first business sale in 2000, and since then has worked on numerous transactions ranging from several hundred thousand to over ten million dollars. Throughout his business brokerage career, Harry has been involved with business transactions in nearly every industrial sector. Harry experienced earlier carrer success in capital, high-tech sales, marketing and management, a skill set he brings to the business intermediary field. Over the years, he has won numerous awards and has consistently been one of the top revenue producers for such firms as: Fisher Scientific, Jarrell-Ash, Bausch & Lomb and Cadence Design. Besides direct sales, he has extensive corporate management experience at the Director and Vice Presidential levels. A graduate of San Jose State in the field of chemistry, he has most recently studied, apprecenticed and has now successfully applied those intermediary skills for the benefit of the client as a fiduciary. Harry is licensed in Massachusetts for commercial real estate transactions that are directly involved in the ownership transfer of a business. Harry is a member in good standing of the following professional trade organizations: International Business Brokerage Association (IBBA), M&A Source, the New England Business Brokers Association (NEBBA) and the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA). In addition, Alpha Business Group is a member of Business Brokers of New England (BBANE), a vetted group of Intermediaries focused on the New England Market. He has attained Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) status with IBBA (currently only 1 of 14 brokers practicing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that is so certified) and is currently a member of the BBANE Board and was also a recent Member of the NEBBA Board of Directors having recently served as its President. Harry and Alpha Business Group joined First Beacon Advisors in January of this year as their professional Business Intermediary. First Beacon Advisors is comprised of professionals from diverse service industries that are widely recognized in their respective fields (Business Intermediary, Cost Segregation, Financial Planning, HR, Insurance, Legal, Lending, Marketing and R&D Tax Credits).
