Rechic'd Designs We specialize in creating custom pieces of live edge wood furniture and other designs for your home and life. We make our own high quality chalk paint.

We are a husband and wife team - Melissa and John Zonin. We live in Acworth, GA and are constantly inspired by the fantastic stores surrounding us. From Vintage-ology to Woodstock Market to Queen of Hearts and even the local flea markets, we see innovative design, unique paint ideas and magnificent woodworking. We started ReChic'ing furniture for our own home and found that it was something we wer

e both interested in and good at! We started selling our pieces just through word-of-mouth and on Facebook. From there, our customer base has grown and now we're also featured as a consigner with Vintage-ology, a great store that has a little of both old and new in its store on Marietta Square. For finishes we use either a satin polyurethane or furniture wax, depending on the piece and/or customer choice. This opportunity has been a blessing and we are excited to see where our business venture goes!

A new endeavor- working with live edge! This piece of cedar turned out beautifully and has gorgeous deep grooves that aren't as noticeable in the video as in person. We made this live edge/Singer sewing machine base combo into a bar with glass racks attached to the underside of the wood.

Transformation complete on this beautiful Ethan Allen entry table. We stripped it down, stained the top in Jacobean and gave the base a fresh look with a vibrant navy blue our client picked out.
