The PCARA meeting tonight has been canceled due to the possibility of bad weather this evening.

Our meetings are held in building C room 410 at the Pontotoc Technology Center at 6:30 on the first Tuesday of each month.

The PCARA Net is held on the following Tuesday evenings on 2 meters, 145.270, tone 141.3 at 7pm.

Dear Amateurs,

As a follow-up to the flyer previously sent concerning our upcoming hamfest scheduled for February 7-8, 2025, this email is to inform everyone that AD5CL Jerry Harper would like those desiring to reserve a table at our hamfest to contact me, KI5VZM Nancy Myers, by email (or phone if the individual does not have email). The $15 fee to reserve a table can be collected either at our club meeting on February 4 or at the hamfest February 7 (or February 8, if the person reserving a table is only doing so for the 8th). The table fee of $15 can be paid in cash or by check made payable to PCARA (or Pontotoc County Amateur Radio Association). We are NOT accepting checks sent by mail. Admission tickets are $10 per person.

25 tables were available; three have already been reserved. Tables will be reserved in the order in which emails are received (first come, first served). I will look forward to hearing from those who desire to reserve a table. Thank you.

Held in the small animal barn (won’t be any animals)
New and used ham radio and other fun electronic gear.
There will be Ham Radio Operators there to explain how you can
get your Amateur Radio license too!
General admission $10.00
Vendor table (includes one folding chair) $15.00
