“My son at 21, was a victim of Drivers License Identity Theft. Sherriff showed up at our home after 5pm on a Friday evening to arrest him. Thank God we are members of LegalShield. “I got a call today that our new tenant in our townhome died and his body was found in our property on Sunday. His parents have already moved his furniture out and surrendered the keys. After I gave my condolences and asked a few questions I hung up the phone and I was so glad to call my law firm to find out what to do. Do I give back a deposit? Can I enter the property? Do I have to disclose to the next tenant? How soon can I rent it back out? Do I need to know cause of death? Is there a police investigation? I am so glad that I have unlimited access to my law firm to ask my many questions and find out how to proceed. This may sound like and ad, it is not... “I opened a Home Depot Credit Account in 2011 when I was doing some home construction and had since paid off my balance in full. This last December I purchased $29 worth of Christmas lights on the Home Depot credit account. They said that I authorized email statements during that transaction…which I had not. Now because I wasn't getting my mailed statements, my $29 purchase was up to $127 because of late fees. I wouldn't have known this if it weren't for the alert I got through my Identity Theft Shield plan that showed a 60 day late payment. But now I had a blemish on my credit report. Home Depot basically told me, "too bad.. so sad." So I called my LegalShield Provider Law Firm and the attorney wrote a letter on my behalf demanding the late pay be taken off my credit stating my rights under the Fair Accurate Credit Reporting Act (FACTA). Since Home Depot could not prove that I authorized email statements and were required to fix the blemish on my otherwise perfect credit. Thank you LegalShield.”

"I had a gold necklace that I brought to a cash for gold spot to sell. While there I found a keyboard that I liked, so I traded them my necklace for cash and a keyboard. As soon as I walked out the store, I noticed that the keyboard I grabbed was broken, the USB port was messed up. I figured it wasn't a big deal, I turned around, walked back inside and asked if I could exchange my broken keyboard for a different one. They said no-- all transactions are final! I couldn't believe it, I had just been in the store two minutes prior, I felt completely ripped off. It was at this point I received an email from LegalShield confirming my membership had processed. I thought 'Well hey, let's see if this works'. I called my law firm and explained the situation. An attorney called me back about 10 minutes later. I told him what happened. He asked if I was still there, I said yes. HE TOLD ME TO PUT THE GUY WHO RIPPED ME OFF ON THE PHONE! I walked back inside and told the clerk my attorney wanted a word with him. I still don't know what my lawyer said. All I know is the clerk looked scared, and I now have a new keyboard!

“I signed up for home bundle of TV, phone and Internet with company that starts with AT; they told me they could save me money on what I had. They also said that I decided to cancel before installment there would be no problem, no charge, no money due, etc. I did cancel before installment because there was no savings to me. I called them to cancel, asked if I was right about no money due to them because I cancelled before installment. Yes was their answer. A month went by and got a bill for service I never had. Got 2nd & 3rd bill; I tried to straighten it out, they said they would. With the 3rd bill I got mad, called my Texas provider legal firm. They sent first letter to AT..., they kept billing me, attorney sent 2nd letter to the first Collection Agency and my attorneys sent second Collection Agency a letter. With that one the billing finally stopped. Wasted everybody’s time and energy! Thank God I have LegalShield!!! How many people may have paid the first bill of about $90 to keep it off their record?! Talking to their employees to straighten it out didn't work. Three letters from my Texas provider legal firm finally did!!! Yay for LegalShield and how good they are! Wouldn't be without my membership!!!”

“I have a little girl that is not blood related to my girlfriend and I that we take care of on a regular basis. She lives with us 3 to 5 days a week. Her father (who has not been in her life) has been served with child support papers and we are afraid that once he is back in her life, we would not be allowed to see the child.
