Yes, wasps or yellow jackets need a warm and cozy place to hang out, however, under the lid of your propane tank isn't ideal when you want to check on the level of your propane—or when you need your tank filled.

To deter them from visiting your tank, and keeping our LP drivers safe when it's time to deliver propane to your site, try spraying some WD-40 under the lid.

There are other methods to keep clear of these pesky insects, however, we have found WD-40 is a handy solution.

Whatever method you choose, we greatly appreciate you keeping our LP drivers safe from any surprises when they lift the lid at your location.
