šŸŒ± Soybean harvest is rolling across Allied territory!

With plenty of combines moving through the fields, soybean harvest continues to make good progress across Wisconsin. According to the latest USDA Crop Progress Report, 54% of soybeans have been harvested, ahead of the five-year average of 47%.

Nearly all of the crop ā€” 97% ā€” is dropping leaves, and 55% of soybeans are rated in good to excellent condition.

Weā€™re thankful for the beautiful stretches of harvest weather and wish all of our area farmers a safe and successful finish to the season! šŸšœšŸŒ¾

Harvest is in full swing, and with beautiful weather and crops ready to come off the fields, itā€™s easy to feel the pressure to keep moving.

But this is also the time of year when accidents can happen.

Long days, fatigue and the rush to get the crop in can make it tempting to take a shortcut or hurry through a job youā€™ve done a hundred times before. Take the extra few minutes. Shut the equipment down. Look twice. Ask for help when you need it. And donā€™t let the pressure of harvest outweigh your safety.

The crop is important ā€” but so are you.

From all of us at Allied Cooperative, we wish you a safe and successful harvest. Take care of yourself, take care of each other, and make sure everyone gets home safely at the end of the day.
