Happy Labor Day! I wanted to share this one again. This is a repair I did to a previously painted job I did that got some damage over time from a few hits, mostly chips in the paint. Also as I like to do, if I can preserve most of the job, I will spot in color where needed, then reclear the whole part, a tank in this case. The idea is to prep the part, repair the damage, blend in with basecoat, then unmask and clear. Hope you enjoy!

Here’s a nice little vintage Yamaha 250 Enduro. Mary of us might have ridden one of these back in the day. This one was in need of restoration. That’s where I came in, bringing the paint back to the original pearl white with black stripe, matching headlight bucket and black oil tank with a new decal. Enjoy

One of my great passions are vintage racing bikes. I’m an avid cyclist and collector. As part of my business, I also restore and refinish bike frames.
This particular one, while not a super high end model, was purchased new by its owner back in 1977, the year I graduated high school. He wanted to change up the look slightly to kind of update it. Decals were no longer made for this brand, so I created them myself and used them as stencils, so the lettering you see is actually paint. I added the white on the seat panel, but it still retains an original look. The color is a pale yellow with a gold pearl over the top, then clear coated. What do you think?

Evening Everyone, here’s a recent project I did for a customer, an iconic Mid 70’s Honda CB750, the bike that single-handedly put the final nail in the British Motorcycle industry. This is a complicated layout to recreate and produce in paint. But I dare say, I’m quite proud of the results, hope you agree

Here’s a motorcycle marque you don’t see everyday, an Italjet “Vampire”. I love that name. This is an original fiberglass tank the the owner didn’t want super shiny. So I suggested using a “flattening agent” in the paint to give it a semi-gloss low luster. Below is what I came up with. Once the owner sends me pics of it put together, I’ll post them

Here’s an interesting project I was tasked with for a private British antique motorcycle museum. The idea was to take this fully restored antique petrol pump as can be seen in the first few pics and “age” it so as to look proper in its vintage display. So I sanded and scuffed the paint, sanded through in some areas and in general made it look less fresh

Good Tuesday Everyone! I wanted to share this custom Commando paint layout. Customer had an idea and together we created this red, silver and black variant, while still retaining an original look. PPG base/clear. The finish is right out of the gun. This one was not buffed. Hope you enjoy!

Here’s a fun project I did for a friend. He owns THE Sam Hollingsworth Nomad and build this mailbox out of two 57 Chevy fenders. He spent some time fabricating it and used a wine bottle rack for the base before handing it over to me for the paint. The flames from the Nomad proportionally, the flames didn’t look right.’so we went with scallops instead

Here was a fun little job I did for a local shop here in Burlington. It’s a 1984 Honda Z50. It doesn’t get much cuter than that. Two stage base/clear, new decals under the clear and it’s ready for a new lease on life

Here’s a recent restoration project. A 1952 Mobil Service Station Towel dispenser. Clearly it needed help, but deserved to be saved. So using this Texaco decal as inspiration, that exactly that I did. Let me know want you think
