For those of you who follow me, I wanted to put this out there. When I was showing my horse many years ago, I actually got excused from the ring one time because he had a dirty sheath. And I wasn’t cleaning his sheath well enough. In fact, my horse developed a bean one time which cost me a small fortune. However, probably in late 90s. I bought the pony club manuals because I was never fortunate enough to go to Pony club and have a horse when I was really young of my own. I used to ride everybody else’s horse. And some people I know that did go to Pony. Club gave me a little hint about Heath cleaning. And I use it to this day, and I used it last week when And he is white glove, Kthleen. Amazing how it works. Just white glove, Kthleen. you’re gelding sheath looks like FO Day asphalt company, get Vaseline. So I put on my little rubber glove get a handful of Vaseline and I rub it all over inside there and grab whatever I can and then come back and do it again, two or three days later. Try it.

OK class here it is for today. I don’t like full neck turnout. I think I have one… No, I got rid of it. It’s inevitable that you will eventually get tears right at the junction where the hood and blanket meet. You will forever be having them repaired don’t sweat it once you pay all the money to repair it. It’s just gonna rip again. I don’t recommend Full necks because of this reason. It might be better that I just put a piece of tape on it get you through the season you won’t be charged for the tape. The only way to really fix this is to take off all the trim so up the lining, put the trim back on just so it can rip again.

I wanted to post these pictures of a Horseware/rhino. Rhinos have a floating membrane which keeps the horse dry. The shell is a nice shell that can offer additional waterproofing and can be treated, but it’s still just plain fabric. It cost significantly more to have a rhino repaired than a regular blanket because now I have basically two things to repair the floating membrane and either the lining or the shell. This particular blanket appears to have been destroyed from the inside and I will be mending it today. The shell only had a hole in it the size of a half a dollar. If this blanket wasn’t so expensive, I would tell them to throw it away I don’t recommend people by rhinos and they are significantly more expensive than an amigo. I recommend amigo over Ramos’s at this point in time remember Horseware has Rambo, amigo, rhino. And the amigos have Mio, hero, bravo … so there are three different level amigos.

Another picture of a Horze brand sheet with the membrane just falling off. Now just fabric is protecting the horse.

Somebody dropped off about 10 blankets for repairs the other day with no drop off tag or contact information. They are a new client because I remember talking to them over a month ago. Because there are over 700 followers on this Facebook I’m hoping that they started following. I need you to contact me immediately and give me some contact information. I will not be starting any work on these blankets until I know who you are. And that will be for a very limited amount of time. Thank you.
