Welcome to W!N Crisis Team. When entities are faced with escalating issues leading to crisis, decisive action and expertise is needed. In 2010, founder, Pete DiCianni, learned how managing in a swift and professional manner can mitigate negative effects and allow healing to occur. Then, as Mayor of Elmhurst, DiCianni led two FEMA declarations for Elmhurst and surrounding communities due to floods following unprecedented "100-year" storms. Another round of theses storms hit again in 2013. DiCianni donned knee high boots and waded through water logged streets searching for ways to help people. Prior to the floods, in 2009, DiCianni faced the H1N1 Pandemic, when Elmhurst was home to the first case in Illinois, and mobilized to limit the effects and protect communities. DiCianni has more than 12 years of combined governmental experience as Elmhurst's former Mayor and currently as a DuPage County legislator. He blends his knowledge of Municipal, County, State and Federal agencies with his 30 plus years of private sector experience in Public Relations and Communications. This combination brings unique perspective in assembling a highly proficient full-service crisis team. DiCianni holds a Bachelor's Degree from Elmhurst College's School of Business Management, and is a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government's Leadership in Crisis Executive Program, and University of Illinois' Leadership in County Government.
