The ASC Curtis is an ongoing joke that you’ll just have to get used to.

My weight to a T fresh off calibration.
It is not what this is used for in the field of the various industry. It’s used way everything from boxes of bolts to 5 gallon drums to 55 gallon drums.
virtually I’m gonna put a platform on top and put a accounting skill and it’s gonna be a dual county skill system. I will show you that conversion shortly.

This large canister looking pieces are is a brand from Toroid….which I don’t even know what the model is called but we have been replacing this sukkas for a a couple decades now. Chemical plants definitely used these on their tanks quite a bit. Rather tall and slimmer where space is limited and the make up space is required. The newer compression Rice Lake Model RL9000TWM (they are so many variations of that cell) is only roughly 1.5” high by itself so it requires a conversion to be able to get in, get it level*** all sides of the load cell surface has to be level, or shimmed to make is as such, and secure it via fastener or weld.

Here is one of GSE’s finest replacements. We had written a program and produced the I/O equipment and flow meter to handle a batching system with quite a few tanks to work with.
We since replaced the GSE 663 with an Avery Weigh-Tronix ZM615 about 7 years ago.
System works great, customer wanted to add a scoreboard so they can monitor the progress of their batches while NOT in front of the front panel control.

We used an AWTX XR2000 remote display
2.0” of BRIGHT Red LED single row
Rips thru from far distance but don’t stare at close range unless you are a moth.
We love moths just not moth balls

48”x48” ramp is double the space occupied however the incline is less steep allowing for manual transfer of totes or other containers one would count the product in ramps are NOT designed to have fork trucks drive up them BTW it will eventually bend the steel and that gap will fade and rubbing will cause bad counts
Always sample with a high count and keep your scales cleaned and calibrated at least every 3 months for normal volume.

Let’s monitor and correctly track ALL the required ingredients that we have to deal with in the industrial age. What better weigh than to get some load cells underneath something…
In this case, customer wanted to monitor and track their liquid totes thru what is called a tote tipper (no plug). A tote tipper uses the full weight of the liquid totes to push the spring down and as the liquid dispenses the weight of the tote allows the spring to push back up and then tip one edge of the tote and allows for that last drip to be extracted.
All the while, mounted to a 60”x60” smooth deck platform. This particular deck is a with hermetically sealed load cells to help defend against spills
Floor Scales almost always have (4) load cells to back to my original point is we have (4) load cells tracking the liquid coming out of this tote.
The weight signal produced can be configured to communicate to a PCL or a Controlling Operating System to interpret the weight data in real time, in this case a 4-20mA (milli amperage) so that their system can control with precision the exact amount we are pulling from the tote.

Mettler still has their Profibus Interface Option available and that is exactly what the customer currently uses and is not even close to changing that option like most customers out there having to replace certain bus interfaces
