Another cooking moment another cooking thought!

So how do you like your ribs?

I prefer the meat to fall off so I season and put in broiler for a few minutes than I put in crock pot for a few hours and finally on the grill for a few minutes.

My husband prefers to eat off the bone....season and put in fridge in the morning and then slow cook on the grill on indirect heat for an hour.

Either way we love those summer ribs and love them even better when cooked in a clean grill or on a clean broiler.

Our family had the most amazing salmon last night in the oven....turned the broiler on high and put fish in oven for 10-15 minutes on top rack in a pyrex dish. It gave the fish a poached taste. One we seasoned with fish seasoning (it contained paprika, garlic salt, and celery salt) and the other I poured on Mango Salsa from Sam's Club. I had no fish complaints from kids or husband! Everyone, EVERYONE loved!

Why do I share?

1.) As one parent to another, fish is good to have once a week.
2.) It is easier to clean the dish than the broiler - love easy clean up.
3.) After I boiled the water for my rice and mixed the rice in after a few minutes, I put that in the oven too, it absorbed the cooking fish smell.
4.) My husband just cleaned our oven and it was so great to not have a strange smell from cooking left over food while we cooked the fish and sides.

Please give us a call if you need to clean your oven or grill. It is a terrible chore and we can do it for you with less toxic chemicals and smells.
