Message Penoach Winery is a small, family owned winery housed in a repurposed 1917 barn. The front porch overlooks the vineyard from which many of the handcrafted wines get their start. The tasting room is welcoming and cozy.Penoach is a working winery. You will often find the owners in work clothes, in the midst of winemaking, testing, grounds keeping or one of the hundreds of chores to be done

around the winery or vineyard. Our belief is that your winery experience, whether it is your first or one of many, should be a fun, relaxing experience.Stay and relax while you enjoy a bottle of wine on the porch or wander in the vineyard. Come back for one of our many Friday night concerts or other events! You can now find our wines in many locations across Iowa. See our wines page for a list of where wines are carried near you! The winery is closed January, February, and will reopen sometime in late March for the season!

This will be the last weekend for Penoach Winery. We come to this point with mixed feelings. We have been here for 17 years since opening in 2006. In that time, we met so many interesting people. In fact, there have been visitors from literally all over the world. Some of the people we met became some of our best friends. But....there comes a time when we can end on a happy note and say it was a very good run. So, thank you to the many, many folks who have made it a fun and rewarding experience.

We will have prices on several of our furnishings, decor, and miscellaneous if anyone is interested. The remaining wine will be priced at $10 a bottle. Buy a case of 12, get a case free.

We many not have the wines you like since our supplies are running very low, but if you're out and about this weekend, stop by to say hi and bye, have a cookie, and a cup of hot spiced Dallas County Apple wine on us.

Come out Saturday 10-4 for the 14th annual Apple Festival. Check out the vendors, have your face painted, go for a wagon ride around the vineyard, roast a marshmallow, and stay for the music from Ducharme Jones from 1-4. We will be offering wine by the bottle, warm spiced Dallas County Apple Wine, and winearitas. Saturday is shaping up to be a beautiful day.

There is no admission charge, but please bring a cash or check donation or non perishable food item for the Good Samaritan Food pantry in Adel.

September wine specials: Buy 1 case, get two bottles free. Buy two cases, any variety, get one case free. Edelweiss $8/ea. $8 wine is not included in case special.
