☀️ HOT WEATHER SAFETY REMINDER ☀️

With temperatures on the rise, the risk of heat-related illnesses increases for everyone.

💧 Drink plenty of water throughout the day
🌳 Take breaks in the shade or a/c
👕 Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing
🧢 Protect yourself from direct sunlight
👥 Check on family, friends, neighbors, and the elderly

🚨 Know the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke:
• Heavy sweating
• Dizziness or weakness
• Headache
• Nausea or vomiting
• Confusion or altered mental status

If someone is experiencing signs of heat stroke, call 911 immediately.

The members of the Short Creek Joint Fire District encourage everyone to stay hydrated, stay cool, and stay safe during this period of hot weather.

🚒 The members of the Short Creek Joint Fire District ask that you keep Antrim Fire Chief Donald Warnock and his family in your thoughts and prayers as he continues to recover from the serious accident he was involved in on I-470. We are thankful for the progress he has made and wish him continued strength, healing, and a full recovery.

If you are able, please consider attending the benefit being held in his honor to help support Chief Warnock and his family during his recovery. ❤️🙏🚒
