Stink bugs are the houseguests no one invited, largely because they bring their own nasty perfume.

As late summer turns toward fall, stink bugs may gather on sunny exterior walls and look for cracks, gaps and any other “ins.” Prevention is all about exclusion: seal around windows, doors, siding, chimneys and utility lines before these odiferous critters move indoors.

If stink bugs are already making themselves comfortable, we can help: https://ow.ly/pZni50ZjPi2.

School is in session and routines are back. That means backpacks are suddenly living on floors and buses, in cubbies and bedroom corners, once again.

Bed bugs are hitchhikers, so it helps to build a simple habit: keep backpacks off beds, inspect seams and pockets regularly, and wash and dry school clothes on high heat.

Seeing signs you’re not sure about? We can help confirm what’s going on and put together a plan to deal with it: https://ow.ly/9LpW50ZjPfL.

Fall pests do not wait for pumpkin spice season to make plans. Stink bugs, boxelder bugs, cluster flies and other overwintering pests often start looking for entry points before the weather really cools down.

Now is the time to check window screens, door sweeps, siding gaps, attic vents and openings around pipes or utilities. Once pests get inside wall voids, they are a lot harder to evict politely.

Get ahead of fall invaders: https://ow.ly/UkzN50ZjPe9.

We understand the instinct. You see wasps coming and going, grab a can from the garage and think, “How bad could this be?”

The answer may well be: very bad.

If wasps, hornets or yellowjackets are active near doors, decks, play areas or sheds, keep your distance and call in trained help. Nest location and species matter, and safe treatment starts with identification, so give us a call.

Late summer is one of the most common times for fleas to show up indoors—but the problem often starts outside.

Pets, wildlife and even the shady spots around your yard can create perfect conditions for fleas to thrive before they hitch a ride into your home.

In our newest blog, we explain why late-summer flea problems begin outdoors, how to reduce flea activity around your property and why the best protection combines professional pest control with veterinarian-recommended flea and tick preventatives for your pets and homeowner vigilance.

If you've noticed itchy pets or unexpected bites around the house, don't wait for the problem to grow.

Late-summer fleas often begin outdoors before invading your home. Learn how these indoor infestations occur and how to prevent them.

Fleas and ticks are small, but they know how to make a big entrance. Pets can bring them in, but so can wildlife passing through your yard.

Keep pets on veterinarian-recommended prevention, vacuum pet resting areas often, wash bedding and reduce brushy areas where ticks wait for a ride. If bites or sightings keep happening, the source may not be where you think it is.
