Armadillos have an incredible sense of smell and spend much of their time sniffing through the soil and leaf litter looking for food. Their diet includes insects, grubs, worms, larvae, and other small invertebrates.

That’s why you’ll often see those small holes and scattered patches of dirt in your yard. Armadillos use their powerful claws to dig into the ground to reach what’s underneath. If your yard has plenty of grubs and insects, it can become a buffet for armadillos!

Rat & Mouse Problems Don’t Always Start Inside the House!

Rats and mice can make themselves comfortable outside your home first—under decks, in sheds, wood piles, vegetation, crawl spaces, and around outbuildings. But if they find an easy way inside, they’ll take advantage of it.

Once inside, they can get into attics, walls, garages, and living spaces, leaving behind droppings, urine, damaged insulation, chewed wiring, and other damage.

Flower Bed Destroyer Caught!

Customer had signs of digging in their yard and flower beds! Armadillos and skunks are both grubbers and will dig for insects, grubs, and worms!

These rats were making tunnels throughout the customer’s newer insulation!

Unfortunately, the insulation was already heavily contaminated with rat and mouse waste and was beginning to compact down in a short amount of time. Wildlife damage doesn’t just mean removing the animals—it can mean replacing the damage they leave behind, too.
