Come join us next Saturday, November 14th for a equine leg disection clinic.
Steve Stephenson CJF and Dr. Shawn Tatman DVM will be leading the disection.
Steve Stephenson is a American Farriers Association Certified Journeyman Farrier. He went to Oklahoma State Farrier school. Steve then went on to earn his AFA certified farrier and then his AFA certified journeyman farrier. Steve was very involved with the American Farriers Association and became a tester, examiner, and eventually an area supervisor for the certification process. Also Steve co-chaired the certification committee and started the education committee for the AFA. Throughout this time Steve was also competing in numerous farrier competitions. He is an 8 time Montana State champion and also finished in the top 20 at the AFA convention.
Steve eventually took all these skills, knowledge, and education, too teach farrier science at Sheridan College for 6 years. He has helped many farriers along the way and we are very lucky to have him come bestow some more knowledge our way.
Steve is also a proud Great Grandpa.

It is hard to believe that Fall is right around the corner. I hope everyone out there is doing well and handling the heat this summer as well as can be expected.
We would like to have a late Fall clinic this year and I would like to get some ideas from everyone on what they would be interested in seeing.
We also have changed a few things around and have started an injured farriers fund. The account is open and we will keep everyone informed as to how it will work as we go forward. It is a great way to give back and help one another out. The farrier industry is one of the most giving I have ever seen and it is always a great thing when we can take care of one of our own. Our plan is to have a membership drive to benefit the fund this fall as well.
Again, I hope everyone has a great rest of their summer and we will keep you informed as things come down the pipe.
