One of my clients recently asked:
"What would I ever do without you?"
That simple statement warmed my heart.
This client (and friend) recently lost her husband. For almost a year, I have served as her administrative assistant helping her pay her bills, call vendors to dispute charges / change of services or payment methods and filing. She calls it "playing office."
Since her husband's passing, I have helped her navigate the estate processing landscape, as well as referring her to an attorney to discuss a possible wrongful death lawsuit and a landscaper to help with her mulch project. We have also reviewed her monthly credit card statements to identify ways to save money, as well as cancelling unnecessary subscriptions.
She recently told a mutual friend, "If Emily doesn't know someone to help, you don't need it done!"
I have sold items for her, as well as watching her dog at my home and hers.
Being a "second hand" to my clients is a privilege I treasure - especially when they are also grieving a major loss, which makes decision making so challenging.
What an honor.
How can I help you!
