It's NOT just the pay - it's the culture, it's the brand, and it's the management. An employee value proposition (or EVP) includes much more than just competitive comp and benefits - in fact, those are table stakes. Which is why I believe small businesses and small nonprofits CAN successfully compete for great talent - because size matters in the agility with which they're able to envision and then re-create and re-deploy a meaningful and effective Employee Value Proposition.



Job candidates’ expectations have changed during the pandemic. In response, experts say, recruiters must create an employee value proposition to meet the moment, with better pay and benefits, including flexibility, that matter to workers.
