Cheers to our brewery recycling partners!!! 🍻♻️

Today’s pickup is from , a whole garbage bag full of the Pak Teks, those colorful 4 or 6 pack rings you get with your cans! Those are #2 plastic, High Density Polyethylene aka HDPE.

#2 is frequently bright and colorful and quite plentiful! When melted, it can be tricky to work with due to its tacky, sticky properties and how it shrinks when cooling, but we can make some gorgeous stuff with it. 🤩

If you’re a local craft brew fan, Wren recommends either of the fruit and ginger kettle sours (cranberry or grape!) or the King Geedorah hazy IPA. Yum yum yum! 🐲🐲🐲
