Proverbs 16:9 — Make plans, but trust God to direct your steps.

We spend so much time planning, dreaming, and working toward the goals we hope to achieve each show season. And while we’re incredibly proud of the banners, awards, and accomplishments, this journey has always been about so much more.

The Showpig industry is a community of hardworking families raising kids through competition, passion, hard work, life lessons, and plenty of ups and downs.

We make the plans. We put in the work. And through it all, we trust God to direct our steps. 🙏

Not every project ends with a banner. That's livestock. That's competition. That's life.

The difference is what you do next.

When someone else finds success, don't spend your time trying to tear them down. Spend your time watching, asking questions, learning, and figuring out how to be better tomorrow than you were yesterday.

The livestock industry is constantly evolving. The families who continue to improve aren't afraid to invest in themselves, seek advice, collaborate, and learn from others. That's not taking shortcuts, that's committing to growth.

It's hard to put into words what today meant.

Days like this don't happen by chance. They're the result of early mornings, late nights, countless hours in the barn, unwavering support from families, and young people who refuse to settle for anything less than their best.

While we wrap our heads around an incredible day at the Kosciusko County Fair and sort through all of the backdrop pictures, we'll leave you with this…

It’s hard to put into words what Saturday meant.
Since starting LLC in 2023, this was one of the most memorable days we've had in the ring. The Michigan Livestock Expo continues to set the standard, and it's all because of the incredible showmen and families who put in the work every single day.

Seeing that hard work pay off is what it's all about. I'm so proud of each of you and grateful to have been a small part of your journey.

A huge thank you to Evan and Gavin Young for believing in what we're building, and to my wife, Tiffany, for standing by me through every early morning, late night, and mile traveled.

Thank you to everyone who helped make MLE so special.
