The Art of Life: Ceremonies by Persephone I create personalized, meaningful wedding ceremonies for/with couples who want something a little less conventional, that authentically reflects them.

As a licensed Wedding Officiant and Certified Life-Cycle Celebrant, I create unique, personalized ceremonies to help you celebrate life's important milestones and passages. I specialize in interfaith, intercultural, "spiritual but not religious," and secular weddings, commitment ceremonies, and more. With an educational background in Theatre Arts and Contemporary Spirituality, and professional experience as a writer and liberal religious educator--in addition to my Celebrant training and experience--I bring a unique set of skills that allows me to craft the perfect ceremony with and for you, respecting your beliefs and values, integrating your unique story, and to perform it with professionalism and grace. This past Thursday, for the summer solstice, I had my very first barefoot beach ceremony! I think it was also the hottest ceremony I've ever done, but at least we got a cool lakeside breeze and some cloud cover. Congrats to the happy couple!!

The scene was set for a beautiful wedding on the water, complete with a b**r sharing ritual. The groom came up to me after and gave me the biggest hug and told me the ceremony was perfect. Those are the moments that fill me up and keep me doing this work. And that's a wrap on this 3-wedding weekend!
