CNC Lathe Operator and Production Work

Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work instructions to determine machining requirements
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments for each job
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts into the machine
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and accuracy
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine performance or product quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Other duties may include surface and OD grinding, EDM, assembly of finished product, and/or manual operation of rubber press.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of machining experience
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting CAD drawings
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, tools, and materials
- Ability to set up and operate CNC lathes independently
- Familiarity with HAAS lathes is preferred
- Experience with milling machines is a plus
- Basic machine shop math skills
