Addison Kennedy, a double major in Marketing and Sales Management, is spending her summer as a Marketing Intern at Merit Brass!

This summer, Addie is creating blogs, email and social media content, marketing collateral, and employee communications while gaining hands-on experience with industry-leading marketing tools and earning valuable professional certifications along the way.

Having just completed her freshman year, Addie is already making an incredible impact. She secured her internship at last year’s Taylor Institute Marketing Career Fair, demonstrating the initiative, professionalism, and drive that set her apart.

Kaitlin Wile has been selected as the student speaker for the College of Business Fall 2025 Commencement Ceremony, taking place Saturday, December 13, at the James A. Rhodes Arena.

Kaitlin is graduating with her Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and Marketing, and she has truly made the most of her time at UA — from studying abroad in Ecuador and Spain to leading the Women in Business student organization as president.

Her accomplishments include earning the College of Business Edge Honors medal, receiving multiple scholarships (Presidential, Barnett International Business, and EM Management Administration), and being nominated by the AAF Akron Chapter for her work on a client project. She’s also proud to have completed Level 1 and Level 2 designations from UA’s Institute for Professional and Leadership Development.

After graduation, Kaitlin is ready to take her skills nationwide as she pursues a career with a marketing agency out of state.
