I’ve always wanted to start a business, but I didn’t want to start something that I wasn’t called to so I didn’t make any moves for a long time.

I’ve been learning all I could to help the people around me get better in their endeavors. One day I was getting food and had a conversation with a business owner that was having a rough day and needed an ear. So I listened.

That was the day that I realized I’ve had this same conversation with a few other owners having the same issue. I thought if I can help them I could build something to help on a larger scales. That is when I started rolling the ball. I knew God kept bringing this to me for a reason so I let my faith guide me forward. Thus Elevate Social Consulting was born.

Growth isn’t always about what you need to add.
Sometimes it’s about what you need to leave behind.

This month I’m leaving behind overthinking every decision,overcomplicated content creation, comparing my journey to others, and questioning whether I can build a successful business while being a present Mother.

The truth is none of these things have helped me grow. So as we step into a new month, I’m choosing something different because the version of me I’m becoming doesn’t need to carry these things anymore. Being a small business owner can feel heavy sometimes.

You’re juggling content, clients, emails, bills, ideas, growth, and somehow still expected to show up like you have unlimited energy. 😮‍💨

But here’s what I need you to remember:

Keep going.

Not because it’s easy.
Not because you have it all figured out.
But because you deserve to see your hard work pay off.

And if nobody told you lately…

You are stronger than you think.

But can I lovingly call something out for a second?

Stop moving the goal line.

So many business owners hit a milestone and immediately focus on what hasn’t happened yet.

You got the client… but now you want more.
You started showing up consistently… but now engagement feels too low.
You made progress… but suddenly it doesn’t feel like enough.

Friend, don’t let being an overwhelmed business owner steal the joy of what you’ve already built.

The truth is, your business growth journey is happening even when it feels slow.

Celebrate the wins.
Acknowledge the progress.
Give yourself credit.
