Fountains have under water and above ground filters that collect a lot of mud, organic and man made trash that prohibits water flow. Lack of flow causes the motors to over heat and burn up causing expensive repairs and also causes high electrical cost to run them. The lack of flow impacts aqua architecture and aqua acoustics. Annual or by bi-annual maintenance is essential for proper display of patterns and also produces longevity of life. Seeing displays reduced is a sign that your filters are needing to be serviced.

Our fountains are made to run, and run, and run! They’re very dependable and easy to service. Installation is done extra fast and easy. Comes with GFI Electrical Command Center, timers and or a photocell.
This unit runs 10 hours a day 365 days a year and has been in service for over 10 years at 10 hours per day. Close to 36,000 hours with no major repairs and gets cleaned once per year.

Dosing fresh water systems with water soluble algaecides keeps concentrations at levels that prohibits or impedes propagation of them. Timely applications throughout the growing season is one part of a successful program that keeps things looking good!

In the eyes of the everyday person they see a beautiful golf course and a lake. In the eyes of an aquatic plant manager or limnologist they see a challenge and a well maintained fresh water system. A challenge in keeping this waterbody in pristine condition. The environmental setting of this lake impacts prolific algae and aquatic plant growth by the second. Nutrients galore feeding them at a very high level. Considering it only takes 1 part per billion phosphorus to grow algae very fast. Bird baths and pools have those levels and if left unchecked in 24 hours you’ll have pea green soup, planktonic algae. Magnify that 1 ppm to 1-5 parts per million and see how fast algae grows! It’s astounding! Fertilization adjacent to this water is fueling propagation levels. For this waterbody to look this pristine, correct management strategies are being applied. Bet on it!

Dosing the water column for preventative control of hydrocotyle-pennywort. The goal is to reduce 50% of the biomass leaving the balance for fish habitat & cover, as a nutrient pump and to serve the fishery as a host for a feeding zone,shade and cover for frye to reach sexual maturity.

Dosing a fresh water system is critical in producing an aesthetically pleasing water body. While it looks perfect to the eye, it’s what lurks below that becomes an unsightly bloom of undesirable algae or plant infestation. Nutrients that feed them are a constant food source for them. Left untreated and the system will become unsightly. It’s a given!
