Job Description Job is located in Pleasant Hill CA . Best And Local Garage Door And Gate Service has an IMMEDIATE full time position for a Service Garage Door Technician starts in about 15 to 25 days after approval.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide quality repair ( springs replacement, sensors, cabels replacement, rollers replacement, opener replacement) , and service of garage doors, openers, and associated components.
• Responsible for day to day coordination of garage door services to ensure jobs are completed as scheduled.
• Responsible for shop and work site safety as well as safe driving of company vehicles.
• Assist in customer service issues in the garage door department.
• Review work orders for accuracy and completeness before departing to job.
• Install garage doors, openers and associated components as indicated on work order.
• Collect payment for completed jobs and post company sticker.
• Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring as it relates to installing garage door openers, sensor eyes, and wall buttons.
• Must be well organized and possess good interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability of good customer service techniques, which include follow through on all matters of the sale and installation.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Capable of heavy lifting (up to 80 pounds)
• Reliable, team player Pay $17-$23/hr, DOE Paid vacation after 1 year, insurance after 180 days, 401K after a year and bonus for sales 2%-3%.
Hours: Mon - Fri 8:00 am -6:00 pm Option for after hours work and Sundays\Saturday
