Going with the flow to help diehard anglers out, I am offering a Cyber Monday special for a full day trip for $375 for two anglers. Now, there are caveats. This guide trip must be paid in full and used before February 15th, 2025. Also, it is restricted to Lake Fork and its surrounding lakes. I have a couple locations that we have been averaging 50-100 bass a day. Those numbers may change somewhat due to surface temps declining. Offer valid till 11:59pm on Cyber Monday. A monumental day for one young angler!! Zach Turner contacted me and wanted his son Tripp to take a shot at the current junior bass record on Lake Welsh. Hmmm!! I did remind him that there was a recent fish kill on that pond but new adventures are what this tournament ju**ie subscribes to. We spent the day combing all the possibilities and the magic happened just before we decided to call it quits. Tripp landed a 5.75 bass that shattered the current record of 3.50. Stoked beyond imagination we headed to Barefoot Bay Resort and Marina to certify the monsta. Paperwork to send in and he will own the record. Congrats young man!!

Got a call this mid morning from the Fishin Magician, Mark Spaeth, asking if I would like to fish in the rain today. Absolutely I said as clouds mean low pressure and a better bite and that’s exactly what we got. Numbers were very good with some decent chunks to boot. Great fishing can happen on nasty days and, as usual, the Magician captured big bass of the day. Ho Humm!!!!

“3 TRIP PROMOTION”
It’s November and that means“PROMO SEASON”! Looking forward to a monumental 2025 fishing year and as part of my good fortune being able to work on the water I am offering a 3 Trip Promotion package that will tally up at $1200. A huge savings as most all Fork guide trips are $500-$600 per day. A $20 PayPal fee is also added to cover the vig. I limit this to five packages and can be used at anytime for tournament prefishing, Corporate outings or just family fun. It’s totally a first come first serve basis. I don’t block out April and June which are the two busiest months of the year so reserve you’re dates early. Our annual group trip with the “wild guys” who, BTW, grew up together in Marfa Texas, went off the past two days without a hitch. Cody Mays and I treated these men to a two lake expose in search for both numbers and a monsta. Lots of green fish caught on day one but the search for the Goliath on day two was stifled by the cold front. This leaves more anticipation for the next adventure. Many thanks to Derek Baker, Jon Polson and Tipp Nelson, along with their buddies Scott and Paul, for giving us the opportunity to enhance their last two days with awesome camaraderie.

Went after a day of line stretching today with Gilbert and Deb Little and it was exactly that. Numbers were great and even rousted some nice chunks for a few super nice pics. Absolute awesome couple and a great day on the water. See you two next round.

Some serious fun on the pond today with Marty and Mitch Chambers. Again the goal was numbers and we were parked ON the spot. Overall quality was much better as the water warmed shallow allowing some of the monsta’s to move back up. It’s always a blast to get a ton of bites and today was no exception. Great guys and an awesome day.

Absolute awesome day today with the “Wildman” George Tabone. I kinda figured that numbers might be the call so I took him to the right place. Had a ton of line stretching but the 3-4 pounders were the only big green fish that wanted to visit the photo op. Those bigger bass have been hiding for quite a while. Nonetheless, I’m thankful to spend the day with excellent fisherman and bigger bass are on the horizon for the next go around.

Went after some numbers action today with Daniel Garcia and it was full throttle line stretching. No giants to speak of and only one decent bass in the four pound class. The rest consisted of a load of small bass up to 2 1/2 pounds which was still a ton of fun. Greatly appreciate ya Daniel and will see you again in a few weeks.
