What’s the difference between a pergola and a patio? A patio is a ground-level paved outdoor surface (often with a solid roof cover), while a pergola is an open-air vertical structure with slatted beams meant to provide filtered shade!

Our speakers this morning were Trent and Olivia with TnT Builders. They specialize in custom decks, patio covers, pergolas, & more! All of their outdoor living spaces are custom designed and built to blend into the style of your home. They will work closely with you to choose the design, products, & budget that will fit your needs. Thanks, Trent and Olivia!

☀️ Good morning from Albany NBG!
This morning we had the pleasure of hearing from CJ with Larsell Mechanical / Tru72 Oregon.

First, Albany NBG would like to thank CJ for his military service and for sharing his time and expertise with us. 🇺🇸

CJ shared his commitment to training employees to do things the right way. Focusing on honest assessments, providing truthful solutions, and building long-term relationships with customers.

If you saw Larsell Mechanical / Tru72 Oregon featured on Good Morning America yesterday, we also want to congratulate them on their partnership with Home Depot! 🎉 So, if you see someone in a black apron instead of orange, be sure to say hello!

One of our NBG members summed up their experience perfectly: their invoices are detailed, they explain the readings and averages, and they take the time to help customers understand why something needs to be done. That kind of communication creates trust, understanding, and strong relationships and that’s what great service is all about! 👏

We had such a wonderful time at our Annual End-of-Summer BBQ with Lebanon NBG. Thank you to Santiam Place for hosting and to Lebanon NBG for providing the BBQ and Alex's Eats! Such meaningful and genuine connections established between our two groups over some good food 😋

🐾 We had the cutest guest speaker EVER today! 🐾

Kristen from Forge ahead K9 brought in Forge (the company’s namesake) and needless to say, he stole the show! 🐶❤️

Forge Ahead K9 offers service dog training, scent training, and more. Kristen even offers board-and-train services right in your home!
But what Kristen really loves is teaching people how to work with their dogs. Especially the importance of patience, consistency, and building a strong foundation.

Her biggest advice? Start as early as possible! That foundation can make a huge difference, especially before the 6–7 month regression period. Put in the work early, and you’ll have a much stronger foundation to build on.

And if your dog is older? You absolutely can teach an old dog new tricks! It may just take a little more time, patience, and consistency.

Thank you, Kristen, for bringing Forge and sharing your expertise with us today! We loved having you both!

Happy Wednesday from Albany NBG!

We had the pleasure of hearing from Angela Stuckart with Next Door Real Estate Group, who works on the residential side of real estate.
Angela shared a little about her story. Growing up in Albany and Corvallis, she learned early on the importance of having food and shelter. That understanding eventually became part of what drew her to real estate in 2008.

As a business owner herself, Angela understands that businesses also need a safe and secure place to grow. She sees that same purpose in each of the business owners in NBG and has a heart for helping them find a place where they can feel secure, do their work, and be productive.

As Angela put it, her goal is to “set you in a place where you feel safe and secure and feel like you can rule your world, grow yourself and other people.”

Thank you, Angela, for sharing your story and reminding us how important it is to have a place where we can grow, both personally and professionally.

Are you the kind of person that is always pushing through and never slowing down?
Do people tell you that, “You look so put together” but really you feel like everything is crumbling in the inside?

This was the experience for Chrystal Hart. When Covid happened, she finally stopped. She knew she had to slow down, listen to her body, and get grounded in order to approach life in a different way.

Now, she works in all the modalities she used in her own healing journey. Such as Reiki, lineage cleaning and inner child healing and more!

Come relax with Chrystal and be filled with love and light ✨
