Good morning from Albany NBG! This week Keith Kessler from Direct Flooring Center showed us some of their more unique options. He also updated us on some trends they are seeing: Gray is out and tan, light, natural tones are in!

Furniture is only part of making a house feel like home. Right now, we are especially in need of small household goods to help families transitioning into stable housing.

Items we are looking for include but are not limited to:
🍽️ Silverware
🍳 Pots & pans
🛏️ Bedding & towels
🪑 Small home essentials

New or gently used items are greatly appreciated and go directly to local families in need. Every donation helps turn an empty space into a comfortable home. ❤️

How neat are these children’s cookbooks made by Furniture Share?! Not only are the recipes amazing, but they also teach kids practical skills like knife safety while supporting literacy.

Thank you, Michelle Robinson, not just for sharing these wonderful cookbooks, but for highlighting the very real need Furniture Share fills in our community. Providing food boxes is so important, but it’s hard to cook what’s inside without essentials like pans, utensils, microwaves, cups, and even towels for cleanup.
