Six years ago, Melody Harkness Mobele founded Harkness Consulting Solutions with a vision, a deep commitment to impact, and a willingness to build one opportunity at a time. Since then, this journey has been filled with some of the most rewarding professional experiences of her career, internship programs, backpack and gift card giveaways, webinars, strategic planning retreats, speaking engagements, and meaningful client partnerships.
What started with a few private sector clients grew into supporting nonprofits, and then expanded to working with state government. The path has been linear, intentional, and grounded in steady growth. Each project, each relationship, and each milestone has helped shape who we are today.
Reaching six years is especially meaningful when you consider that only about 1 in 3 Black-owned businesses make it beyond five years. To not only sustain but steadily grow with purpose and impact is something we are very proud of.
As we reflect on this milestone, we're grateful for the trust, the collaboration, and the opportunity to do purpose-driven work that makes a real difference. And the most exciting part, we’re just getting started. We have so many projects in store over the next few years! We’ll continue forward with the same mission, purpose, and commitment to impact.
