What is Energy Awareness Month, and why does it matter?

Client Spotlight: Microplant Nurseries

Founded in 1980, Microplant Nurseries is an all-indoor nursery producing healthy, tissue-cultured “Microplants” to help best-in-class growers start strong.

Microplant Nurseries produces millions of 1–2-inch plantlets that will eventually grow to full size in their partners’ greenhouses. As they put it, they’re the “plankton” in the “food chain” of plant material, helping supply growers year-round with the plant material they need.

Because Microplant Nurseries is an indoor growing operation, keeping their plants happy requires a lot of energy, including more than 3,000 light bulbs and multiple HVAC units.

It’s an honor to install solar for Microplant Nurseries and help support the energy needs of their growing operation.
