The Women’s Business Council is looking for its 2027 and 2028 Adopted Nonprofits!

Selected organizations will have opportunities to share their mission, connect with the business community, promote volunteer opportunities and raise funds to support the people and communities they serve.

5 Ways to Enjoy Your Summer While Working

Summer brings longer days, warmer weather, and plenty of reasons to get outside. While work responsibilities don't disappear, you can still enjoy the season with a few simple changes to your routine.

1. Take Meetings Outside
If a meeting doesn't require presentations or shared documents, head outdoors. A patio, park bench, or shaded space can boost creativity, reduce stress, and make conversations feel more engaging.

2. Try Walking Meetings
Turn one-on-one check-ins or brainstorming sessions into walking meetings. Moving while you talk encourages fresh thinking, creates a more relaxed atmosphere, and helps break up long hours of sitting.

3. Adjust Your Schedule
If your role offers flexibility, start earlier or end on time so you can enjoy the best parts of the day. Even a short walk, lunch outside, or time with family can make your workday feel more balanced.

4. Refresh Your Workspace
