Covid-19 update
All International Systems employees are fully vaccinated with the Covid-19 vaccine. Our technicians will continue to wear masks and use proper hand sanitation. They also carry shoe covers and gloves for full protection. Our office remains closed to customers, however, if you need to pick-up a piece of equipment, contact our office when you are coming and we will leave it at our front door for you.

As news continues to spread and concerns rise about the Coronavirus COVID-19, IBS is taking all precautions with the latest reports from the CDC to ensure the health and safety of our customers, team and the community we service. Be assured our Monitoring Response Center continues to provide 24 hour emergency response. Our office staff is working from home during normal business hours - Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm. Please be patient during these hours if you get a busy signal as we have only 1 phone line. Today we said goodbye and Happy Retirement to our service scheduler, Tony Grimaldi. He has been an amazing asset to our company, a true company man and friend. We hope he and his wife, Linda enjoys many new adventures, great music and exciting hockey games.
Lori Donato will be taking over the bulk of the scheduling activities.

But with the holidays come some hidden fire dangers. Did you know that December is the peak time for candle fires? Keep all lit candles away from holiday decorations. Don't leave them unattended. Consider using battery operated candles. Keep your holiday tree well watered.

Welcome Spring! Welcome Spring Clean-Up.
The warm weather is coming - we hope - and it's time to think spring cleaning. Don't forget your alarm system. Here are a few tips to be sure your system is fully functional. If your system is monitored by our Monitoring Response Center (MRC), call them at (518) 439-3270 and ask to have your system placed on test while you are cleaning and testing your system. Vacuum or dust around your smoke, carbon monoxide and motion detectors. Do not use spray cleaners. A lightly dampened cloth can be used to clean the outside covers of the units. Be sure to test your smoke detectors. Each unit has a test/reset button. Check your door and window contacts to be sure they are secure - especially after washing windows. Basement windows can have barrier bars or trip wires. Check to see they are intact and free from obstructions. Call our office for additional information on testing your fire/security system.
