Tonight, something shifted.

Nothing monumental happened. I took my boys bowling.

But somewhere along the way, I realized I felt younger. My step was lighter. My heart was singing.

I wasn’t thinking about the next problem to solve or the next box to check. I was simply there — laughing, connecting, and looking at these two young men beside me and feeling genuinely excited about their bright futures.

And I noticed something else.

The energy I brought into the evening changed the evening.

It changed how I experienced my boys. It changed how I experienced the people around me. And I could feel that it changed how they experienced me.

The quality time had more quality.

That’s the spark I’ve been talking about.

Maybe firing up your dreams isn’t always about making some enormous leap toward the future. Sometimes it’s about becoming fully alive in the life you’re already standing in.

Tonight, I remembered what that feels like.

And I want more of it. 🔥

Sometimes moving forward means rediscovering pieces of yourself you forgot were still there.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about creating—not just creating a business or creating a plan, but creating a life.

Years ago, one of the ways I created was with a paintbrush. I didn’t paint because I was trying to accomplish anything with it. I painted because it was fun. Because it was colorful. Because something that existed only in my head suddenly existed in the world.

Maybe growth isn’t always about becoming someone new.

Sometimes it’s about bringing more of you along for the ride.

What’s something you used to love doing that you’d like to make room for again? 🎀

I had the pleasure of taking part in a great livestream today. The theme centered around a deceptively simple question that has stayed with me:

What if I didn’t have problems?

The more I thought about it, the more the question began to change for me.

Not what would I be doing?

But…

How would I be living?

How would I be showing up?

And that sent my mind somewhere I wasn’t expecting.

How much of life can be spent fixing, solving, worrying and reacting — tending to whatever demands our attention next?

And what parts of ourselves get quieter while we’re doing all of that?

What would get my attention if I weren’t always looking toward the next problem? What would make me curious? What would make me laugh? What would I learn, create, notice, explore?

Where’s the mischief?

One phrase from the livestream was “active value creation versus reactive existence.”

That one landed.

Maybe living intentionally isn’t only about taking agency over the life I’m creating.

Maybe it’s also about taking agency over how I show up.

Because you go where you focus.

And when I turn some of that attention inward — not looking for another problem to fix, but simply getting curious about the woman underneath all that fixing and solving — something rather lovely happens.

I’m enjoying the show.

And maybe the woman I’d really love to hang out with isn’t someone I have to create after all.

Maybe she’s been there all along.

I just needed to give her a little more of my attention.

And that makes me wonder…

What would you discover if you got curious about yourself again? 💗

Sometimes you don’t step into the next chapter with certainty.
Sometimes you take a breath, gather a little courage, and sail into the adventure. ⚓️

Sometimes the biggest shift isn’t in what we’re doing — it’s in how we’re showing up. ✨

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the difference between waiting until everything is perfectly in place and simply beginning.

Growth usually doesn’t happen in one giant leap. It happens through one intentional choice, one new habit, one brave step… and then another.

So I’m practicing something new: less waiting for the “perfect time” and more taking the next step anyway.

What’s one thing you’ve been waiting to begin?
