Nice little read, The RWC performed well.

While many of you were asleep last night, your Albany Firefighters were still hard at work.

A medical call that came in shortly after 1am ended up being much more than that.
Sometimes, we have very little info about what is actually occurring until we are on scene.

After searching a large area, crews were able to reach the patient by foot and realized that the patient was down a 50ft embankment on the edge of the river.

AFD’s water team moved quickly to launch the Rescue Water Craft, reach the patient and extricate him to safety and further medical care.

Also, a big thank you to the Albany Police for helping with locating and removing the patient!
