Think tick season ends when summer does?

Think again.

Fall is an important part of tick season in Upstate New York. Adult black-legged ticks are active in the cooler months, with activity often increasing in October and November.

And here’s what many homeowners don’t realize: fall is also a chance to get ahead of next spring. Reducing active ticks in the fall can help reduce the number that survive the winter and become active again when temperatures rise.

So don’t put tick prevention away with the summer clothes. 😉

We were proud to celebrate the official ribbon-cutting of our new Saratoga location alongside our team, community partners, and friends last Thursday.

This expansion is another step in our continued growth and our commitment to serving families and businesses throughout the Capital Region and beyond with the same local, reliable service we’ve built our reputation on.

We’re excited to officially call Saratoga home and can’t wait for what’s ahead!

Starting the school year with full backpacks and a little extra support. 🎒❤️

We were proud to provide backpacks and school supplies to more than 100 local students across the communities we serve, including 30 backpacks to Kingston City Schools, 20 to Ichabod Crane Schools, and more than 50 backpacks through a community giveaway in Hudson.

From packing and loading the trucks to delivering backpacks to local schools and hosting our Hudson giveaway, we’re grateful for the opportunity to help students head into a new school year feeling prepared and ready for what’s ahead.

To all of our local students, teachers, staff, and families: have an amazing school year! 📚✏️🎒

Giving back to the communities that support us is something we’re proud to do.

If it feels like yellow jackets are EVERYWHERE right now… you’re not imagining it. 🐝

Late summer is peak yellow jacket season. Their colonies have been growing all summer, and now they’re busy looking for food—which means your backyard BBQ, fallen fruit, garbage cans, and sugary drinks can become very popular hangouts.

The tricky part? Their nests aren’t always obvious. They can be underground, tucked into landscaping, or hidden inside wall voids.

Seeing more yellow jackets than usual? Give the nest some space. Do not seal the entry point, try DIY methods or treatment on your own.
