Team Biggam Walk with us! We've been walking for Gramma Ruth since 2014 and want to get as many people involved as possible! Mi Gramma es su Gramma!

Often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease, ALS is a 100% fatal, progressive, neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. In 2013 our Gramma, Ruth Biggam was diagnosed with this lethal crippling diseas. Gramma was mother to three and grandmother to seven. She fought the incredibly arduous up hill battle until her passing in December of 2014. She is remembered by her friends and family who helped to care for her in her final days.

We surpassed our fundraising goal by hundreds of dollars!
Fun fact- this year, just over a third of our walkers/strollers we’re made up of Generation Alphas. We’re always thankful for our members and walkers helping us raise awareness for ALS and joining us to remember Gramma. This year Team Biggam was one of the top 10 largest teams in NM!

Sept 19th was the annual ALS walk!

Our associates, friends and family joined us as we walked around the UNM track and field/ soccer complex in support for Team Biggam with ALS.

We have raised up to $200.00 and will be accepting more donations until September 30th.

Good morning Team Biggam!

Due to COVID-19, the ALS walk will be virtual.

On Sunday, September 27 we will meet at Arroyo del Oso Park (7001 Osuna Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109) at 10AM!

We will walk for ALS then we will stay and let the kiddos play and have a picnic as a team!

We hope to see everyone there to support ALS and Team Biggam!

BIG Thanks to Canvas Artistry - Kitchen Bar Art Music for hosting Team Biggam at a Paint Party in support of the ALSA-NM (The ALS Association New Mexico Partner) we all had such a good time the restaurant was beautifully decorated with local artists works, the kitchen was great and the painting instructor was awesome and super encouraging! Definitely a repeat event!
