As a marketer, seller, customer relationship, job seeker at an interview, or anyone dealing with people directly (front-end) or indirectly (back-end), you might want to know how to diagnose a situation precisely.
Whether to know when to listen and not say a thing, to talk and inform, convince or teach, to absorb and learn...
You'd want to make a diagnosis of the situation first before making any move toward a solution or reaction.
To make it effective, you might need to care a bit more _genuinely want to understand/solve it_ and base more of your reasoning on evidence _can it be proved ?_ that way, you'll know what to ask, how to gather enough information to deliver some result.
The good news is it can be automated; you do it so often that it becomes a reflex, and you don't even notice it anymore, as it might already be the case.
Try to be a bit more aware of how you interact with people. It could be all you need to be more successful and serve more.
