The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services seeks to improve the academic and developmental outcomes of children and youth living in the most distressed communities, including ensuring school readiness, high school graduation, and access to a community-based continuum of high-quality services.
💰 Funding: Up to $6,000,000 per award. Matching funds are required (see solicitation for details).
💵 Total available: $65,000,000 across an expected 12 awards.

👤 Eligibility: 1. Institutions of Higher Education (IHEs) 2. Indian Tribes and Tribal Organizations 3. Non-Profit Organizations (in a formal partnership with a high-need local educational agency, IHE, local government official, or Tribe).

✔ Addressing Critical Post-Pandemic Needs through place-based strategies that actively combat community violence and reduce chronic absenteeism.
