---The problem. The largest problem with current alarm systems and monitoring services is that they don't prevent the crime from happening do they catch the criminal. Traditional alarm and monitoring services do just that - alarm and monitor; not protect. When your alarm is triggered, the monitoring service goes down a list of phone numbers. They call you to make sure there's nothing wrong, and if something is wrong, they call security or the police department. The dispatcher then launches security or police, who then have to find the address to your area. By the time they get there the criminal is already gone. With criminals becoming faster and more efficient, a more capable countermeasure is also becoming increasingly necessary.
---Our solution. With the Kontra Instant Response System, your residence or business is now being protected, not just monitored. Our system works with on-site security personnel that you may have in your neighborhood or business. We solve the root problem of time delays that let the criminals get away. With our system, the nearby guard(s) become the monitoring center. When your alarm is triggered, the Kontra app immediatley alerts guards when and where the trigger is and then routes the nearest path to the threat. Now, before the criminal has the proper time to escape, the guard is already on site. This endeavor is a new project with the intentions of improving the standard of security around the world.
