Recently, internationally recognized market strategist Vickie Sullivan returned to Hilton Garden Inn Gallup and shared something unexpected with bartender Desiree Perez—that she had inspired an article Vickie wrote nearly three years earlier after watching Desiree calmly manage a busy bar following a wedding reception.

Congratulations to the four Project Search - New Mexico sites that earned awards for at least 70% job placement of their interns: Project SEARCH Farmington (Farmington Municipal Schools), Hilton Garden Inn Gallup (Gallup McKinley County Schools), Holloman AFB - 49th Wing (Alamogordo Public Schools), and Presbyterian Rust Medical Center (Rio Rancho Public Schools).

This month, our team had the opportunity to participate in a two-fer — the NMSU School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management Career Fair and The Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce Youth Summit & Futures Fair.
