Dr. William Turner reported today that water rights sales continue at a brisk pace with closings nearly every week. Of the names of water rights consultants given out by the State Engineer, clients have told him that the attorneys almost never return calls and none of the others on the list have water rights available to be sold. WaterBank has about 50 cannabis clients and is beginning to have their permits issued by the State Engineer.

Dr. William Turner, President of WaterBank, announced today that WaterBank, which validates water rights for clients, has conducted a study of approximately 50 transactions in which it compared its validations with the amount of water rights ultimately approved by the State Engineer. Dr. Turner said "Our validations agree to within about 99 percent of the amount recognized by the New Mexico State Engineer. "That is, if WaterBank says there are 100 acre feet of valid pre-1907 water rights, the State Engineer may say there are 99 or 101 acre feet," Dr. Turner said.

Mr. Matt Reynolds, B.S. & M.W.R., President of WaterBank, announced today that it has assembled its second Tranch of water rights totaling about 125 acre feet of consumptive use water rights. The water rights have been validated by WaterBank and are being offered for sale. Under its program, WaterBank carries out at its expense all validation studies, title work, transactional work, publication of legal Notices, State Engineer and client liason, legal review of all sales documentario, closings, and handlling of escrow through its dedicated trust accounts.

Turner announced today that WaterBank has been issued its license by the State of New Mexico to act as an escrow agent for handling of funds in the sale and closing of water rights transactions.
