🌷✨Designer Collaboration

We are honored to welcome featured designer Felysha Aragon of Nambe Owingeh and her brand to the Heart of ABQ Fashion Show.

As an emerging Indigenous fashion designer, Felysha creates multidimensional upcycled pieces rooted in sustainability, storytelling, and community. Inspired by her Pueblo roots, Kaat’say serves as a love letter to her people through patchwork, embroidery, screen printing, and sun printing transforming inherited materials into powerful expressions of identity and creativity.

In a time shaped by fast fashion and textile waste, her work reminds us of the value, history, and self-expression carried within the pieces we inherit. Through her designs, Felysha hopes to inspire Tribal youth to reconnect with creativity, culture, and the stories woven into the fabric of our communities.

🎸NGT is honored to welcome of the Navajo Nation as one of our featured designers for the Heart of ABQ Fashion Show 🩵

👗🖤 A fashion designer and visual artist, Penny Singer continues to expand the definition of Indigenous fashion through powerful couture storytelling rooted in culture, movement, and ancestral connection. A graduate of the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, Penny incorporates photo transfer, bold Navajo weaving designs, and the landscapes of her homelands into one-of-a-kind wearable art pieces that have received recognition across Indian Country and beyond.

Her work reflects storytelling through body, form, and motion while reclaiming Indigenous perspectives through fashion while creating designs that connect across generations and communities.

We are honored to welcome of Acoma Pueblo and his brand as one of our featured designers for the Heart of ABQ Fashion Show festival! 🔥🕺🏽💃🏽

An established and nationally recognized fashion designer and multimedia artist, Loren has showcased collections across the country through his previous brand ACONAV, collaborated with Walt Disney World, and was honored as the Phoenix Fashion Week Couture Designer of the Year. Through Towering Stone, Loren continues to blend innovation, culture, and the powerful design traditions of Acoma Pueblo into a premium fashion brand based in NM.

Acoma Pueblo also carries deep historical significance along Route 66, with generations of Acoma artists, families, and trading traditions connected to the story and movement of Central Ave throughout New Mexico history.

Scotti Clifford is from the Badlands of South Dakota whose music carries the spirit of his Cheyenne and Lakota ancestry through Indie Rock, storytelling, and the heartbeat of the Northern Plains. His songs reflect movement, resilience, family, and life across Turtle Island.

Scotti has shared stages with artists including Dispatch, Nahko & Medicine for the People, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, and Dave Matthews while continuing to uplift Indigenous voices through music and community. ✨

✊🏽🌱✨ As Native Guitars Tour continues to grow through new programming, partnerships, and community spaces, we are looking to grow our team for 2026.

For 19 years, NGT has been powered by the people. Through music, art, fashion, and culture, we continue creating spaces that uplift Indigenous creativity while bringing community together in meaningful ways. As we expand our work, we are looking for passionate community members ready to help shape the next chapter of Native Guitars Tour.

We are continually receiving requests from community asking how they can become part of NGT, and this is one of the ways we are opening that path. We are currently looking for collaborators through NGT event staff and volunteer opportunities for our 2026 events. If you’re passionate about music, art, fashion, and community building, this is your chance to step behind the scenes and help make the magic happen.

This is about being part of the journey. About helping create spaces that bring people together, uplift artists, and strengthen community through culture and creativity. We’re excited to welcome new energy, ideas, and people into the NGT family as we continue building what’s next together.

We are excited to announce Santa Clara Pueblo’s Trio! 🎸 The trio they brings a vision rooted in lineage, land, and indigenous experience.

Jacob’s work brings together conversation between generations. His sound pulls from the past, but his purpose is forward-facing ✊🏽 honoring Pueblo identity, translating memory into melody, and showing that Indigenous creativity isn’t frozen in history 📕 it’s evolving, breathing, and loud in the present.

As a musician 🎸 visual artist 🖼️ and photographer 📸 Jacob doesn’t just perform culture he documents it, protects it, and reshapes it for the next wave. Every note, every image, every stage becomes a place where tradition meets possibility.

Otakwan is a visionary creative leader, internationally recognized model, and advocate for Indigenous couture, ethical fashion, and visual sovereignty. Her work continues to uplift Indigenous and Métis creatives through powerful runway experiences centered in culture and storytelling. ✨

The NGT Runway Fashion Program is rooted in community, collaboration, cultural expression, and storytelling. Fashion is more than presentation. It is identity, movement, and legacy.
