Bernalillo County & Silver Horizons: Silver Helping Seniors offer FREE groceries to low-income seniors and veterans at grocery pickup opportunities throughout the county. 🛒 No reservations needed!

Ages 50+ (proof required) and senior/household income must be $1,304.17 for one, $1,762.50 for two, $2,220.83 for three, $2,679.17 for four, and $3,137.50 for five.

If you or someone you know was exposed to radiation from U.S. nuclear programs, you may be eligible for compensation through the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA). Qualified individuals may receive a one-time payment of $100,000.

Eligibility includes downwinders, uranium workers, onsite participants, and individuals affected by Manhattan Project waste. If you developed certain cancers or serious illnesses after exposure, it’s important to learn more about your options.
