We provide Blount County and the Greater Knoxville Area with a range of security services through the use of armed & unarmed security officers. Our officers are certified, trained, knowledgeable, and motivated professionals who stand ready to meet the needs of our clients. We are also

a state certified Handgun Carry Training school. Our 8 hour handgun courses utilize both classroom & range training. Graduating participants are qualified to apply for their handgun carry permit. 2025 was an incredible year for Solid Ground. We were recognized as the top security guard company in East Tennessee. We were also honored as a Top Workplace in the greater Knoxville area and doubled in size.

Behind the scenes, we’ve dealt with deaths, diagnoses, and even brain surgery. Our Solid Ground family rallied around and supported each other. What an honor it is to see people live out our mission statement: To honor and glorify God through our actions, attitude, and service.

At our recent Christmas party, Adam Hoffman and Kimberly Taliaferro were given the 2025 Gunman Award as Co-Employees of the Year.

We would also like to think Missy Dodds for being our guest speaker and sharing her story.

Ian will be undergoing brain surgery in the coming days. We believe they’re going to have an amazing testimony to share when they get on the other side of this storm.
