🧮 Who knew helping my daughter with algebra would turn into a lesson about organizing? 😄
The other day, while helping my daughter work through some algebra problems, I found myself explaining how to simplify equations — remove what doesn’t belong, combine what does, and work through the problem step by step until the answer becomes clear.
And somewhere between solving for X and explaining why we have to do that, my organizer brain kicked in. 💡
Wait a minute… isn’t that exactly what I do for a living? 😂
Think about it.
👗 A cluttered closet?
Too many clothes + No clear system + Daily frustration = Chaos.
💻 A messy digital life?
Scattered files + Duplicate documents + Endless searching = Overwhelm.
The solution? Start simplifying.
➖ Subtract what no longer serves you.
➕ Add systems that make sense.
✖️ Multiply efficiency.
➗ Divide the stress and overwhelm.
And suddenly, things start adding up!
Of course, unlike algebra, organizing doesn’t always have one right answer. What works beautifully for one person might not work at all for another.
The goal isn’t to arrive at the perfect answer. It’s to find a solution that works for YOU.
Who knew a little mother-daughter algebra session could turn into a business philosophy? 💙
Now I’m curious — if you could simplify ONE equation in your life or business right now, what would it be?
Your closet? Your digital files? Your inbox? Your calendar?
