Think you’ve got what it takes to own the stage? Bring your talent to The District for Open Mic Nights!

🎙️ Sign-ups begin on-site at 6:30 PM
🎶 Open mic runs 7–9 PM
🎸 BYO instrument + any equipment/cords needed
🎤 Open to singers & songwriters ages 15+
🎵 Covers & originals welcome (bonus points for originals!)

We’re excited to have 301Productions co-hosting the event, with Tristyn Sanchez serving as your MC and host! 🎤

The crowd will be watching for stage presence, vocals & technical skills, with one winner selected each night.

And it gets even better… 👀 The top three winners will compete in the final round on 11/19, where one winner will earn their choice of an acoustic or full-band set at The District in 2027!

New schedules and fresh routines make this a great time to return to lessons, pick up where you left off, or finally try something brand new. 🎹🎸🥁🎤

❤️🤍💙 What a way to celebrate!

Our Red, White & Tunes Showcase was one for the books. From our first performance at 10:30 AM to our final bow at 9:00 PM, our stage was filled with incredible musicians sharing the confidence they've built all year long.

With a completely sold-out showcase, we had the privilege of cheering on 100 performances featuring vocalists, bands, pianists, guitarists, drummers, and so much more. Every act represented hours of practice, courage, and growth, and we couldn't be prouder.

To every student who stepped onto that stage, every family who filled the audience, and every teacher who poured into these musicians—thank you for making this day so special.

Meet Macie! 🎶

There's something especially meaningful about introducing Macie—because she's one of our own!

Macie grew up surrounded by music and is a current voice student here at Destiny. Over the years, she's embraced every opportunity to perform and lead, from church choirs and musicals to worship teams, piano lessons, songwriting, and musical theatre productions.

Her passion for teaching began while volunteering at music camps she once attended as a camper herself. Through those experiences, she discovered how much she loves helping young musicians learn, grow, and find confidence in themselves.

One of the things we're most proud of is seeing students grow into confident musicians and leaders who then inspire the next generation. Macie is a beautiful example of that journey. Watching her develop her talents and now step into a teaching role is incredibly rewarding.

She believes music can change the world—we just have to let it change ourselves first.

We're so excited for our students to learn from her and continue the cycle of growth, confidence, and creativity that makes our music community so special.
