Lx3 Corporation Precision Tooling, Product Development, Custom Manufacturing Lx3 specializes in precision tooling, product development and custom manufacturing.

We are involved in a variety of industries from consumer products to aerospace. On the consumer side our specialty is injection mold tooling. We handle complete projects from part design to tooling design and manufacturing. The larger percentage of our work is focused in the aerospace industry. We have worked on a number of joint development projects with major aerospace companies. Projects includ

e Lockheed Martin JSF and Falcon programs, Air Force X37 space plane and Aerojet Hyfly missle program. Through our aerospace work we have developed expertise in a wide range of materials including aluminum, titanium, PH stainless steels, alloy steels, and composites. Lx3 operates a climate controlled all CNC shop. CNC 3 axis milling accounts for the majority of our work. We are currently equipped with 3 Milltronics VMC’s featuring large travel, high RPM spindles, laser tool setting and in process probing capability. CNC programming is performed on PC workstations using Surfcam. For design we utilize Solidworks and can import CAD data from most current formats.
