We are getting an influx of calls for both Field Crickets and Camel Crickets! These crickets go through a “swarming season” every year in early Fall, which can be a major nuisance for homes and businesses. 🦗

Aside from a pest treatment, we recommend limiting exterior lighting and checking weather-stripping on doorways!

Are crickets invading your home or business? Ross Pest and Lawn is here to help! 817-341-7677, or send us a DM to chat 🍀

🐛Bag Worms are an ornamental pest that we deal with every summer! They feed on and defoliate a variety of evergreen trees, especially Junipers and Cedar Trees.

These caterpillars encase themselves in a protective “bag” made from silk and plant foliage, making curative insecticide treatment less effective once the issue has progressed

The best time to treat for Bag Worms is late spring/early summer as a preventative treatment! If you have a current bag worm issue, the best solution is to physically remove the bags and apply an ornamental insecticide if infestation is severe!

Not something you see everyday! 🪲

One of our clients used an Oak Tree plank from his property to build a bench. This morning, a Robust Oak Borer Beetle was peeking his head out to say hello 👋
